Truths Science Would Not Want To Speak

This book is by a spiritual, retired university scientist who here takes name after the great explorer James Cook. The allusion reflects a defining moment where a long journey to the South Pacific - James Cook’s old territory - made the seasoned scientist realise that Science has gotten Darwin’s observations in that same area completely wrong: that the story about evolution, genetics, and natural selection must be fundamentally rewritten. To that end, we must bring all the arts together: to arrive at Truth, biological science, psychology, philosophy, spirituality, and quantum physics are combined into an integrated model for our world and our role and place in it. To make it accessible, the text is shaped as a set of relatively short essays. That way, it can be ingested piecemeal while, at the same time, the essays support and explain each other: combined they shape the full image within a reasonably short, and hopefully equally accessible, book. Enough holy cows are slaughtered to create a massacre of sorts, but if our current understanding of us and of our world is built on false beliefs and misunderstandings, that foundation must be shattered and replaced by a better one.
