Elin Hilderbrand is an American writer mostly of romance novels. Hilderbrand's novels have all been set on and around Nantucket Island where she lives with three children. She was born and raised in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, and was previously a teaching/writing fellow at the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop.
